Jakarta, 2 July 2021 — On March 1, 2021 last year, Indonesia’s NDRC (National Dispute Resolution Chamber) issued NDRC DECISION NUMBER:012/NDRC/I/2021 and 015/NDRC/I/2021, decided that PSPS Pekanbaru club must pay the salary arrears to 2 PSPS professional football players with total arrears of IDR Rp 105,875,000,- (One Hundred Five Million Eight Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Rupiah).
In the decision, NDRC Indonesia gave no later than 45 days (after the decision was submitted) for Pekanbaru PSPS Club to implement the decision: to make payments to 2 PSPS players, for the amount mentioned above. Based on this decision, after almost 2 months from the due date, yesterday, on 21 July 2021, based on the information we received from 2 PSPS players, PSPS Club has finally paid off the arrears.
APPI really appreciates Pekanbaru PSPS club for this settlement, which has complied with the NDRC Decision NUMBER: 012/NDRC/I/2021 and 015/NDRC/I/2021.
APPI hopes the PSPS Club can also immediately execute the Indonesian NDRC DECISION NUMBER: 013/NDRC/I/2021 and 014/NDRC/I/2021 which was decided on March 1, 2021, regarding the fulfillment of the obligation to pay arrears of salaries to 2 Players, which was due on April 14, 2021. Due to the fact that the decision has not been fulfilled, the sanction of banning player registration for 3 registration periods against PSPS Club is still valid.
