Jakarta, 5 Maret 2022 – APPI menyayangkan keputusan PSSI yang tetap tidak melanjutkan penyelenggaraan kompetisi Liga 2. Melanjutkan Liga 2 ialah salah satu janji dari para Calon Ketua Umum dan/Wakil Ketua Umum PSSI yang kini justru telah menjabat.
“Seperti yang telah APPI sampaikan sebelumnya, dihentikannya Kompetisi Liga 2 ini akan menimbulkan banyak polemik terhadap kontrak-kontrak kerja para pesepakbola dan Klub yang telah ditandatangani sebelumnya, dimana terdapat lebih dari 500 pesepakbola yang menggantungkan nasibnya pada kompetisi Liga 2 musim 2022/2023 ini.” M. Adanya wacana untuk menggelar mini turnamen bukanlah merupakan solusi terbaik dalam menanggulagi resiko dihentikannya Liga 2 musim 2022/2023, kecuali dapat diterapkannya sistem dan verifikasi yang mengadopsi regulasi dari kompetisi resmi.

APPI’s Statement On The Discontinuation Of Liga-2
Jakarta, March 5, 2023 – APPI regrets PSSI’s decision not to continue the run of the Liga 2 competition. To continue Liga-2 was one of the promises by the Candidates for the PSSI Chair who has finally been elected.
“As has previously stated by APPI, the termination of the Liga 2 Competition will lead to a lot of controversy over the work contracts of footballers and clubs that have been signed previously, there are more than 500 footballers who depend on the Liga 2 competition for the 2022/2023 season. ” M. The discourse of holding a mini-tournament is not the best solution in overcoming the risk of the 2022/203 Liga 2 season being stopped unless a system and verification can be implemented that adopts regulations from official competitions.
